Original Sokos Hotel Viru

Very clean and tidy , well organised and the roof top bar was amazing. Lots of facilities onsite but we were there with the international children’s games so it was very busy, but even though it was busy, the staff were calm and professional. Credit to them because I would’ve definitely bought a week off work! 🤣

Having integrated restaurants and a lively pub within the hotel was incredibly convenient, providing excellent options for dining and relaxation without needing to venture far. The comfort of the room was truly noteworthy; it was super comfortable, providing a serene and relaxing haven after a day of sightseeing. What truly stood out, however, was the breakfast experience. It was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had, offering a wide and delicious selection that set a perfect start to each day. However, the absolute highlight of my stay was the extraordinary service provided by Jane, the receptionist. Jane was not only extremely friendly but also incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was seamless and enjoyable. Her dedication to guest satisfaction was truly exceptional, making it the best service I have ever experienced in a hotel. In summary, the Original Sokos Hotel Viru combines an ideal location, excellent facilities, superb comfort, and an unforgettable breakfast with truly world-class service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Tallinn.

Excellent location for the old town and easy to walk everywhere. The suite on the 20th floor had breathtaking views.

It's located right next to the old town,train station and bus station and not too far from the port for the ferries. The breakfast is a good enough standard and plentiful being self service. The views of the sea and town are great all day. You have the sunrise and the sunset. The rooms are good.

Very good historic hotel. Bed was super comfortable and views of the city from hotel were amazing. Staff were friendly at reception. KGB tour was very interesting.
